The School of Fibre Science & Technology

The School of Fibre Science and Technology was established in 1986 to bring together the University's activities in Wool and Pastoral Sciences and Textile Technology.

The School of Fibre Science and Technology, and its Departments of Textile Technology and Wool and Animal Science, provide a unique facility in Australia and internationally for the integration of both teaching and research into all fibre based products. Activities cover production and harvesting of natural fibres, man-made fibre production, and conversion into consumer and industrial textile and related products.
